Superior Court Motion Practice

This FREE seminar and reception will present a panel of judges discussing practice tips and recommendations for success in preparing, arguing and opposing civil motions before the Superior Court.  The seminar will provide valuable insights for both new attorneys and seasoned litigators, and will be followed by a networking reception for all attendees and members of the judiciary.  Specific topics will include:

  • Tips for preparing written motions and oppositions
  • What judges like and dislike at oral argument
  • Superior Court Rules 9A and 9C
  • Best practices for resolving discovery disputes
  • What role does civility play in motion practice
  • Ex parte and emergency motions
  • Rule 16 conferences
