Harvard Lambda Legal Advocacy Conference: "Hanging in the Balance: LGBT Rights & the 1st Amendment"

Harvard Law School Lambda's annual conference will take place on Friday, April 5, 2013, and will feature introductory remarks, two panels, and a keynote dinner all focusing on various issues related to the intersection of LGBT rights and free expression.  The conference will be followed by a reception and after-party.

Specific topics of discussion include religious objections to LGBT rights in the contexts of same-sex marriage and the provision of services, student and teacher expression in schools, and a keynote dinner address by Senator Ted Lieu of California, who authored the state's groundbreaking law banning the use of "conversion" or "reparative" therapy on LGBT minors.

The event should be an afternoon and evening of robust discussion, fun, and fellowship!
