Representing Transgender Asylum Seekers

The program will provide a comprehensive introduction to representing transgender individuals in bringing asylum claims, both from the affirmative and defensive postures.  The training will focus on educating advocates as to unique issues that arise in these types of cases and to the particular challenges that transgender individuals face in the immigration context.
