Legal Lines
For about 15 years, the Mass. LGBTQ Bar Association has sponsored LEGAL LINES.
Legal Lines is a live call-in television show on BNN, Live and is currently hosted by Tim Lynch. The twenty-five minute show airs at 4 p.m., the third Wednesday of every month on Comcast channel 9 or RCN channel 15. The show is taped and then repeated at other times throughout the month. See http://www.bnntv.org and you can get an idea of the physical setting for the show. The purpose of the show is to inform and educate the public on legal issues as they affect the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer communities. Prior topics have covered such things as marriage, hate crimes, AIDS, employment discrimination, gay adoption, bullying, gay domestic violence, and transgender rights.
