Nixon Peabody Commemorates Stonewall

In June 1969, New York City police raided the Stonewall Inn, a gay club in the heart of Greenwich Village, sparking an uprising by the LGBTQ+ community and igniting the modern fight for LGBTQ+ equality.

Fifty years later, Nixon Peabody recognizes the importance of this moment in our nation’s history as we look toward continued meaningful advancements in LGBTQ+ rights.

Please join us for a special evening as we commemorate the 50th anniversary of the NYC Stonewall uprising.

We will be joined by keynote speaker Chastity Bowick, Director of the Transgender Emergency Fund, the leading crisis agency for transgender communities in Massachusetts. A networking reception will follow.
